Narmada Academy of Fire & Safety, Jabalpur
Our History
Narmada Academy of Fire & Safety (NAFS) was founded in 2012 at Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, by Shri R.N. Rawat. From that first centre, NAFS has grown to Jabalpur, Katni, Harda, Mandla, Indore and Tendukheda. The Jabalpur academy at Adhartal trains students for fire and safety careers in government departments and private industry.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make every student a self-reliant fire and safety professional – someone who understands the science of fire, can install and handle fire protection equipment, knows how to prevent loss, and can run a firefighting operation with confidence.
What Makes NAFS Different
Students learn on the ground, not only in the classroom – hose drills, ladder rescue, rope climbing and daily physical training are part of the routine. Training is led by Defence Officers, Fire Scientists / Engineers and Fire Experts. Courses run from diploma level up to B.Sc., B.Tech and MBA, with NEBOSH IGC and IOSH Managing Safety also on offer, and every eligible student gets placement assistance through tie-ups with more than 200 companies.
